Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Johnss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Kane postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kane must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kane is working Johnss over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Andy Kane is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Johnss drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Johnss seems to have locked his on tight now - Kane screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Johnss, as he picks up the win!
