Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jarrett Coffey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Harkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jarrett Coffey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pat Harkin!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coffey tries to clinch up but Harkin circles away and keeps his distance.

Harkin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Coffey sprawls well initially but Harkin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Harkin looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Harkin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Harkin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Coffey doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Harkin.
Harkin not doing much here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Coffey really is a fat lump.
Harkin's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Coffey tries to roll over but Harkin keeps him under control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Harkin is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Harkin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
It looks like Harkin might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Harkin drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Coffey pulls Harkin in close to prevent any damage.
Harkin missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Harkin controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Harkin would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Harkin lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Coffey is trying to control the position but Harkin postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harkin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Harkin fails to land the takedown.
Harkin throws a body kick that misses.
Coffey half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Harkin has managed to clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Harkin lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Harkin is stalling here.
Coffey is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harkin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Coffey can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Harkin holds on and takes a little breather.
Harkin is continuing to stall.

Harkin is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Harkin shoots for a takedown but Coffey saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Harkin closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Coffey did well to prevent Harkin getting side control.

Coffey won't allow Harkin to pass to mount.
Harkin wants to take a breather but Coffey is having none of it.

Harkin has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Coffey works to full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Harkin closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Coffey's guard.

Harkin stays in close to Coffey's body and controls the position.
Coffey not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Harkin controls from within his opponent's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Harkin wants to get up but he can't break Coffey's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Harkin is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
No luck for Harkin with that takedown attempt.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
No joy there for Harkin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A big right from Coffey misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Pat Harkin will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Harkin throws a sloppy head kick and Coffey moves out of range easily.
Harkin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Coffey sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Coffey attempts a counter takedown but Harkin avoids it well and moves away.

Harkin dives in and scores a takedown into Coffey's guard.
Harkin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Coffey manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Harkin manages to get himself to full guard.

Coffey wants to get up but he can't break Harkin's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Harkin throws an elbow that misses. Coffey uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Harkin's guard. Nice move by Coffey!

Harkin lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Harkin wanted to stand there but Coffey had control of the position.
Coffey not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Coffey wants to sweep here but Harkin controlling him for the moment.
Harkin slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Coffey gets caught napping as Harkin dives in and scores a takedown. Coffey manages to retain guard.

Pat Harkin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Harkin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
