The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slade takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Tyrone Slade has been cut.
Eerkilaa slips a straight right by Slade.
Slade lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Eerkilaa circles away quickly and effectively.
Slade looks to score with a jab to the body but Eerkilaa is just out of range.
Eerkilaa misses with a hook
and Slade counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Slade moves into range and clinches up with Eerkilaa.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Eerkilaa.
Eerkilaa swings wildly with an uppercut but Slade uses good head movement to avoid it.
Slade wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Slade pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Slade wants to get back to striking at distance but Eerkilaa won't allow it.

Slade escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Slade looks to score with a jab to the body but Eerkilaa is just out of range.
Slade takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Tyrone Slade's cut is getting worse.
Eerkilaa keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Eerkilaa throws out a counter right but Slade avoids it with no problem.
Slade swings for the body but Eerkilaa moves out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Slade avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Eerkilaa lands with an overhand left.
Slade throws a low kick but Eerkilaa avoids it.

Eerkilaa throws a jab when Slade was well out of range.

Slade throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Slade will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Slade is looking to wear down Eerkilaa with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Slade misses with a hook.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Slade steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Eerkilaa.

Slade lands with a kick to the temple. Eerkilaa shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
That kick from Slade tenderised Eerkilaa's leg. Eerkilaa is trying to keep his angry face on.
Eerkilaa misses with a straight left.
Slade looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Slade throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Eerkilaa misses with the combination.
Slade rushes Eerkilaa and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Eerkilaa is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Slade piles on the pressure and Eerkilaa crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

Tyrone Slade decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
