Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Manfred Yuri!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heath tries to clinch up but Yuri circles away and keeps his distance.
Heath wants to clinch up but Yuri keeps it at a distance.
Yuri uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Heath.

Yuri drives through with a takedown into guard.

Yuri decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Heath, up you get!
Heath fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Yuri thinks about the counter body kick.
Heath avoids the head kick by Yuri.
Heath shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Yuri sprawls well. Yuri wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Heath gets slowly back to his feet.
Heath swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Heath shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Yuri defends it nicely.
Heath has been working on his balance at Cozad MMA Los Angeles, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Yuri.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leonard Heath. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yuri pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Yuri darts in and clinches Heath up against the cage.
Heath is trying to pull guard but Yuri has him pressed against the cage.
Yuri swings wildly with an uppercut but Heath uses good head movement to avoid it.
A nice right hand lands inside from Yuri.

Heath tries to pull guard but Yuri won't allow it.

Heath manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Yuri makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Yuri looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Heath working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Yuri doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Yuri manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Heath escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yuri gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Yuri content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Heath is looking to cinch up a triangle. Yuri throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Heath's body to avoid the submission. Heath has instead reached around Yuri's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Heath arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
