Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harry Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ahmad Safwan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ahmad Safwan struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Safwan lands a front kick.
Safwan drives through and clinches with Wilson against the cage.
Safwan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Safwan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wilson.
Wilson tries to clinch up but Safwan circles away and keeps his distance.
Wilson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Safwan is defended easily by Wilson.
Wilson misses with a low kick as Safwan jumps back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Safwan lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Safwan looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Wilson!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wilson is looking to reverse the position.

Safwan controls the position from side control.
Wilson is not content to let Safwan control the position.
Safwan tries to move into full mount but can't pass Wilson's legs.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Wilson can't do much from the bottom here.
Wilson gets back to half guard.
Wilson is looking for a sweep. Safwan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wilson regains full guard. Nicely done.

Safwan is sitting in close to Wilson's body. Wilson has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Safwan is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Safwan is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Wilson.
