Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mateusz Biernat!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biernat misses with a takedown attempt

and Pennington counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Pennington.

Biernat goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Pennington turns into him and now he's in Biernat's guard.

Biernat lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Biernat thows a body kick. Pennington tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Pennington looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Biernat with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Biernat is trying to control but Pennington manages to pass to mount!
Pennington is landing with some decent strikes but Biernat is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

and Pennington counters with a nice double leg into side control. Biernat won't be happy with that.

Biernat tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pennington wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Biernat is desperately trying to improve his position but Pennington has a good base and remains in mount.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Biernat is in a horrible position here. Pennington smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

I would just about give that final round to Mateusz Biernat.
I think Biernat has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
