Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Livingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malaikat Maut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eduardo Livingston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Malaikat Maut!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maut closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Maut lands in his opponent's guard.

Livingston has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Maut has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Livingston turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Maut throws Livingston to one side and escapes!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Maut moves into range and clinches up with Livingston.

Maut manages to break the clinch.

Maut scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Livingston kicks off Maut and gets to his feet.

Maut is trying to push Livingston away but Livingston has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Livingston creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Maut sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Maut is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Livingston pulls his head out easily.

Maut has hold of Livingston's hands but Livingston slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Livingston winds up and cracks Maut with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Livingston is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Maut defends it well.

Maut tests Livingston's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Maut shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Maut throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maut prevents Livingston from standing back up.
It looks like Maut is going to stand back up.
Livingston wants to get back to his feet.

Livingston trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Maut is keen to just control but Livingston is a slippery customer.

Maut has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Livingston regains guard immediately.
Livingston wants to stand up but Maut is controlling him.

Maut wants to advance to full mount but Livingston doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Livingston has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Maut is breathing heavily.
Maut is looking to stand up but Livingston won't let him.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Maut wants to control from the top but Livingston keeps moving.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Maut looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Livingston moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Livingston is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Maut is controlling him.

Maut is standing up over Livingston. Livingston looks to escape but Maut dives into side control.
Maut throwing strikes but Livingston manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Livingston cracks Maut with a big elbow.
Maut is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Livingston is controlling him well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Malaikat Maut will probably get the nod - 10:9.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Livingston takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Livingston tries to sprawl but Maut drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Eduardo Livingston overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Livingston is staying active underneath Maut, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Maut throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Livingston to regain full guard.
Maut slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Livingston wants to get back to his feet but Maut is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Maut is posturing up here but Livingston has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Maut tries to roll out but it's too tight and Maut has to tap! Slick submission there by Livingston!
