The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dupa misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Dupa will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Dupa is looking to clinch.
Rizzuto throws out a powerful jab.
Rizzuto lands a body shot.
Rizzuto connects with a body shot.
Dupa closes the distance and clinches up with Rizzuto, looking for a takedown. Dupa pushes Rizzuto against the cage but Rizzuto circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jan Dupa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dupa doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rizzuto swats away the attempt to clinch by Dupa.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rizzuto cracks a nice hook into Dupa's ribs.
Rizzuto pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dupa back to the cage. Rizzuto follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

and Rizzuto counters with a right hand to the body.
Dupa is breathing heavily.

Rizzuto thuds a left hand into Dupa's body.
Rizzuto scores with a body shot.
Dupa takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Rizzuto stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rizzuto wants it to stay on the feet.
Rizzuto connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Dupa tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Rizzuto counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Dupa takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rizzuto scores with a nice head shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dupa is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Rizzuto cracks a nice hook into Dupa's ribs.

Rizzuto lands a big right hand that sends Dupa crashing to the mat! Rizzuto stays standing though and waves Dupa back to his feet!

Dupa is rocked!

Rizzuto cracks Dupa with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Dupa looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Rizzuto finish him?
Oh Dupa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Rizzuto engages and cracks Dupa with a massive lead left hook - Dupa tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Rizzuto is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
