Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Langston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Billy Stanlay!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Stanlay does no damage.
Langston throws a head kick that half lands.


It looks like Billy Stanlay has been cut.
Langston lands a nice shot that snaps Stanlay's head back.
Langston avoids a punch combination nicely.
Joe Langston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Langston lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Stanlay sprawling to the canvas. Langston follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Stanlay hang on?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Langston avoids a punch combination nicely.
Stanlay misses with a series of wild punches.
Langston tries to close the distance and clinch but Stanlay swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Stanlay fails to land the takedown.
Langston lands an overhand right.

Langston lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Stanlay sprawling to the canvas. Langston follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Stanlay hang on?


Stanlay is rocked!
Langston is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Langston wants to stand up but Stanlay has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Langston is keen to just control but Stanlay is a slippery customer.
Langston is really struggling to control Stanlay but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Langston lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Langston is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stanlay is just riding it out for now. Langston eventually gives up the hold.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
A left and a right from Langston both land. Nice combination.


Billy Stanlay's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Billy Stanlay's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
