Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Morris Pittman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takiya Genji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takiya Genji is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pittman moves into the clinch.
Pittman has a couple of punches blocked by Genji.
Pittman has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Genji is pushing Pittman up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
A left hand lands to the body for Genji.
Genji pushes Pittman back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Pittman lands with a short shot to the head.
Pittman tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Genji's elbow.

Pittman wants to get back to striking at distance but Genji won't allow it.

Genji breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pittman clinches up with Genji and pushes him back against the cage.

Pittman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Pittman is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Genji presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Pittman stands up and waves to Genji to follow him.
Pittman stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Genji.

Genji throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Pittman escapes and throws Genji's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Pittman stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Pittman tries for a takedown but Genji sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Morris Pittman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pittman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Genji's waist but Genji gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pittman off to one side.

Pittman closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Genji really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pittman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Genji lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Genji prevents Pittman from improving his position.
Pittman moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Pittman has his foot on Genji's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Genji works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Morris Pittman.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pittman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
