The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rage slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Rage scores with a punch to the head.
Rage moves in looking to clinch but Solo pushes him off.
Rage tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A telegraphed right hand from Rage misses the target.
Solo slips under a jab.
Rage fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Solo manages to avoid it.
Wilson Rage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Rage throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Solo.

Solo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Rage tries to buck Solo off but Solo is having none of it.
Rage is letting Solo control him for a moment.
Solo's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
I looks like Solo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wilson Rage dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Solo moves away from the strike by Rage.

Cono Solo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Solo feints and as Rage raises his hands in defense, Solo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Rage looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Solo lands a couple of digs.

Rage is looking for a triangle but Solo pushes his legs off easily.
Solo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rage's guard.
Solo prevents Rage from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Well, if Solo is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Rage moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Rage throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Solo escapes and throws Rage's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Solo is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Rage will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

You can see the frustration on Rage's face as Solo controls the position.

Cono Solo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Solo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
