PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zakattack Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simmons comes into the arena with throw it in the bag blaring out of the sound system. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez drops Simmons with a right and a left! Perez comes rushing in but Simmons regains his composure and manages to keep Perez in guard.

Simmons working for submissions but it's allowed Perez to get to half guard.
Perez wants to free his trapped foot but Simmons is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Perez thows a huge punch but Simmons dodges it nicely.
Perez trying to advance position but Simmons counters by regaining guard.

Simmons looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Perez passes into side control.
Simmons might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Perez tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Perez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Simmons is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Perez is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Simmons looks calm but he's in trouble here. Perez gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Simmons is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Perez lets go of the hold and Simmons can pop his arm back in it's socket.
