Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lip Ton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and MIchael Henley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ton comes to the cage accompanied by Snap - Rythm is a Dancing. MIchael Henley has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henley is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Henley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ton moves away.
Ton changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Nice defenses there by Henley.
Henley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ton paws at him with a jab and circles away.
It looked like Ton wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Henley throws a low kick but it's checked well by Ton.
Ton is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Henley.
Henley uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ton.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Henley enables Ton to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Henley manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Henley is looking to sweep but instead, Ton has passed into half guard.

Ton displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Henley throws out the jab.

Henley uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ton.
Henley lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ton circles away quickly and effectively.

Henley throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ton was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Ton cracks Henley with a right hand to the side of the head.

Ton misses with a hook. Henley ducked under it nicely.
Horrible takedown attempt by Ton or perhaps it was just good defense by Henley, which made it look bad.

Henley lands a high kick to the side of Ton's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Henley dives into guard, looking to finish.

It looks like Lip Ton has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ton is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Ton has his foot on Henley's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Henley works his way back into a safe position though.

Ton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Henley defends it easily.

Ton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Henley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ton lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Lip Ton will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Henley throws a sloppy head kick and Ton moves out of range easily.
Ton wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Henley tries to close the distance and clinch but Ton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ton drops down looking for a counter takedown but Henley sprawls and moves away.

Ton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Ton is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Henley is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ton tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ton has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Ton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ton is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Henley can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Ton wants to finish this one by submission but Henley is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ton.
Ton can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Henley is looking to escape.

Ton won't let Henley get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Henley keeps working.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Henley wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Henley shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ton eats them both and turns towards Henley to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ton, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
