Lansky has chosen Rag’n’Bone Man - Wolves as his entrance music. Meyer Lansky has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Meyer Lansky!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lansky moves into the clinch successfully.

James is trying to push Lansky away but Lansky has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Lansky lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of James backwards.
James blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
James's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Lansky is fighting off a takedown attempt but James is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lansky to the mat. Lansky regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

James closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Lansky's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as James accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

James changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lansky fights it off and pushes away nicely.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Lansky. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
James lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.


It looks like Meyer Lansky has been cut.
James throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
