The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomson fails with a takedown attempt.

Williams moves into range and clinches up with Tomson.

Williams manages to break the clinch.

Williams lands a big head kick that sends Tomson tumbling to the mat! Williams takes a step backwards and waves Tomson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Tom Tomson has been cut.
Williams cracks Tomson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Williams shoots in for a takedown but Tomson shows good takedown defense.

Williams gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Tomson successfully pulls guard.

Williams wants to pass the guard but Tomson is keeping the position.

Tomson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Williams doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Tomson is tightening it up a little... Williams has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Williams reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Williams taps out! Nice BJJ there by Tomson!
