Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ezra Jacobson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conor McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ezra Jacobson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Conor McGregor!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McGregor closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
McGregor wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
McGregor lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Jacobson makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
McGregor is defending well against a takedown attempt.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Jacobson tries to pull guard but McGregor holds him up against the cage and eventually Jacobson drops back down to his feet.
McGregor keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jacobson's efforts to push away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McGregor throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jacobson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
McGregor throws a strike but Jacobson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

McGregor doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Jacobson trying to control the position from guard on top but McGregor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jacobson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
McGregor is pulling down on Jacobson's head. It's preventing any offense from Jacobson, at least for the moment.
Jacobson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
McGregor has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jacobson throws a strike but McGregor rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

McGregor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jacobson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jacobson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Jacobson is working an open guard so McGregor takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
McGregor shoots for a takedown but Jacobson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

McGregor has managed to clinch.

Jacobson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

McGregor changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jacobson fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Jacobson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as McGregor walks away with a smile on his face. Jacobson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
McGregor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jacobson tries to avoid it but McGregor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jacobson to the ground. Jacobson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McGregor has his takedown stuffed
and Jacobson counters with a left to the body.
Conor McGregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jacobson leaves McGregor with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jacobson seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
McGregor looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jacobson is fending him off so far but McGregor persists. Nope, Jacobson circles away and we're back to standing.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

McGregor is looking to chop away at Jacobson's legs.
McGregor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

I would just about give that final round to Conor McGregor.
