The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gryzbowski is looking to clinch but Emelianenko is avoiding it.

Emelianenko throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gryzbowski's waist but Gryzbowski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Emelianenko off to one side.
