Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brendan Burgess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benito Galan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Galan gets caught flat footed, as Burgess shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Galan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Burgess doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Burgess manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Galan is looking for a triangle but Burgess pushes his legs off easily.
Burgess wants to stand but Galan has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Galan has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Savage Kartel MMA Tokyo. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
