Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Petrovolinksi Kotoski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clash Jazz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Clash Jazz!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jazz throws a series of punches but Kotoski avoids them all with ease.
Kotoski fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Kotoski. No joy for Jazz on that attempt.
Jazz swats away the attempt to clinch by Kotoski.

Jazz scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Jazz has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Kotoski regains guard immediately.

Kotoski is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Jazz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Jazz has control of Kotoski's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kotoski regains control of the situation pretty easily.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Jazz is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Kotoski has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Jazz controlling the positon.
Jazz is hanging on to Kotoski's back as he tries to escape.
What can Kotoski do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Despite being in the dominant position, Clash Jazz just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Petrovolinksi Kotoski will probably get the nod.

Kotoski drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jazz pulls his leg out and moves away.

Kotoski isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jazz stacks Kotoski on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jazz!

Kotoski postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jazz looks a forlorn figure.

That has opened up Clash Jazz's cut even more.

Kotoski is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jazz can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Jazz is still in real trouble! Can Kotoski finish him?

The cut above Clash Jazz's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Clash Jazz's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
