Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ed Landry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quiero Taco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Landry comes to the cage accompanied by Ride Wit Me - Nelly. Quiero Taco looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ed Landry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Quiero Taco!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Bruno Lombardi and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landry tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Taco defends well and Landry ends up having to push Taco into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Landry pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Landry throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Landry swinging wildly here.
Sloppy strikes from Landry. Those never looked like landing.
Taco throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Landry throws a body kick that misses.
Landry cracks Taco with a right hand to the side of the head.
Taco walks into a jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Landry throws a right hand that Taco ducks under and follows up with a left that Taco also avoids with ease.
Landry misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Taco is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Landry misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Taco.
Landry comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Taco misses with a kick to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Landry looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Landry throws a head kick but Taco moves out of range.
Taco slips a jab and a cross from Landry.
Landry shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Taco pinned against the cage. Taco gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Taco flicks out a counter leg kick but Landry steps away.
Landry tries for a takedown but Taco sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ed Landry. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Taco slips a jab and a cross from Landry.
Taco tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Landry is able to avoid easily.
Landry is looking to counter punch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Landry. Taco does a little dance to reset his feet.
Landry misses with a series of wild punches.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Landry!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Taco throws a leg kick which misses Landry's front leg but catches the back leg as Landry tries to avoid it.
Taco slips a jab and a cross from Landry.
Oooooh!!! Landry has knocked Taco down with a huge combo! Landry steps away and waves a wobbly Taco back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Taco is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Landry misses with a series of wild punches.
Taco is still on wobbly legs! Can Landry finish him?
Landry avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Landry works Taco's body with a nice hook.
Landry lands with a big right hook that stumbles Taco - he's out on his feet here! Landry follows up with another monster hook that separates Taco from consciousness! Taco falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Landry stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ed Landry!
After the fight, Ed Landry was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
