Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rikkard Hanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AG Pennypacker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pennypacker looks to land a left hand but Hanson moved out of range nicely.
Hanson lands with a nice body punch.
Hanson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
AG Pennypacker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pennypacker with a nice cross.
Pennypacker's corner calls for a 1-2. Pennypacker obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Pennypacker takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hanson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hanson moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Hanson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hanson goes for a double leg but Pennypacker avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pennypacker continues to drive forward.
Pennypacker swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Hanson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hanson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Good leg kick by Pennypacker there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Hanson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pennypacker to the mat! Pennypacker manages to get full guard.
Hanson wants to pass the guard but Pennypacker is keeping the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hanson seems keen to control Pennypacker's posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hanson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Pennypacker would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Hanson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pennypacker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hanson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Hanson lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Hanson wants to control from the top but Pennypacker keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Pennypacker connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Hanson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rikkard Hanson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hanson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Hanson misses with a low kick.
Hanson swats away the attempt to clinch by Pennypacker.

Pennypacker lands a left and a right that send Hanson crashing to the mat, dazed. Pennypacker thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Hanson is rocked!

It looks like Rikkard Hanson has been cut.
Pennypacker drops Hanson with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Hanson! Pennypacker dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

AG Pennypacker tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
