Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steve Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eg Por Kvartir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Por Kvartir has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eg Por Kvartir!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz blocks a head kick by Por Kvartir.
Por Kvartir looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Diaz.
Por Kvartir has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Diaz is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Diaz darts in and clinches Por Kvartir up against the cage.
Diaz lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Por Kvartir is trying to break the clinch but Diaz is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diaz is trying to pull guard but Por Kvartir turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Diaz jumps guard but Por Kvartir turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Por Kvartir wants to break the clinch but can't.
Diaz is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Por Kvartir is defending well for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Diaz gets a double leg takedown into Por Kvartir's guard.
Diaz cracks Por Kvartir with a solid left hand.
Diaz stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Por Kvartir tries to sprawl but Diaz drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Por Kvartir scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Diaz manages to mount him!
Por Kvartir really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Diaz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Diaz is landing with some decent strikes but Por Kvartir is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Diaz breaks from Por Kvartir's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diaz is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Por Kvartir is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Por Kvartir flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Diaz anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Por Kvartir and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Diaz slips an arm under Por Kvartir chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Diaz has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Diaz is squeezing on Por Kvartir like an anaconda would it's prey. Por Kvartir fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
