The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Montana keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
We've been told by Montana's head coaches at Wild Card that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Montana misses with a wild body shot.
Teebs thows a left - swing and a miss!
Montana takes a swing at Teebs's ribcage but misses.
Montana drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Leon Montana has been cut.
Montana throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Montana connects with a body shot.

and Teebs counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Teebs keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Teebs counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Montana tries to score with a low kick but Teebs moves his leg out of the way.
Montana has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Teebs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Montana goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
And Teebs responds with a good body kick, but Montana manages to step out the way in time.
Montana tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Teebs was well out of range. Poor timing from Montana.
Teebs connects with a high kick.
Montana just misses with a punch to the body.

Teebs connects with a good right hand that stumbles Montana. Montana circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Montana has managed to clinch.
Montana lands a right hand that snaps the head of Teebs backwards.
Teebs scores with a hook to the body.
Montana tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Teebs's elbow.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Teebs.
Teebs can't find room to land a body shot as Montana controls the action.

Montana tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Montana struggles to land a body shot inside as Teebs controls his hands.

Montana lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Teebs backwards.
This has been an exciting period of action!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Montana creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Montana lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Teebs backwards.

Teebs's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Teebs tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Montana's elbow.

Montana lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Teebs is rocked!
Montana lands a big right hand that drops Teebs! The killer instinct kicks in and Montana finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Montana!
