Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Daniel Carneiro and Blake Maislin. Carneiro comes to the cage accompanied by The Rasmus - In the Shadows. Blake Maislin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Carneiro instigates a clinch.
Maislin tries to pull guard but Carneiro won't allow it.
Carneiro drags the fight down to the ground.
Maislin is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Carneiro pulls Maislin in to control the position.
Carneiro controls Maislin momentarily but Maislin frees himself.
Maislin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Carneiro is keeping the position for now.
Carneiro manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Maislin manages to get himself to full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Maislin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Carneiro doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Carneiro manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Carneiro wants to control from the top but Maislin keeps moving.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Carneiro is sitting in close to Maislin's body. Maislin has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Carneiro is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Carneiro is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Maislin.
