Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Algenir Mira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hank Parker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mira fails with the takedown.

Parker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mira working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Parker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Parker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mira escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Parker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Mira drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mira jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Parker cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Mira sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Mira is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Parker's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Parker's back!

Mira has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Parker has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Parker loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Mira scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Parker land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Parker stands and salutes the crowd.
