Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hulohot Yokohama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yokohama has chosen Metallica - All Nightmare Long as his entrance music. Hulohot Yokohama told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado scores with a takedown into Yokohama's guard.
Yokohama is controlling Machado's posture.
Yokohama keeping full guard, as Machado tries to pass.
Yokohama wants to stand and escape but Machado is having none of it.
Machado advances position into side control!
Machado has knee on belly momentarily but Yokohama bucks him off and regains half guard.
Machado is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Machado wants to free his trapped foot but Yokohama is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Yokohama pushes Machado off looking to stand but Machado dives back in and keeps control.
Yokohama tries to roll over but Machado keeps him under control.
Yokohama controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Yokohama pushes Machado off and gets back to his feet.
A head kick lands from Yokohama that sends Machado to the canvas. Machado tries to scramble back to his feet but Yokohama brings him back down into side control.
It looks like Peter Machado has been cut.
Machado is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Machado is letting Yokohama control him for a moment.
Machado tries to improve position but can't.
Machado is trying to work for a sweep but Yokohama has mounted him!
Machado looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yokohama doesn't have the hooks in and Machado manages to turn into his guard.
Yokohama wants to stand but Machado is controlling the position.
Machado trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Yokohama manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Machado working for a triangle but Yokohama defends it easily.
Machado pushes a forearm under Yokohama's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Yokohama is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
