Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Delphino Atlantis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brendan Duff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Atlantis comes to the cage accompanied by Rancid - Time Bomb. Duff has chosen Determined by Mudvayne as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brendan Duff!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duff cracks a nice hook into Atlantis's ribs.
Atlantis ducks under a wild hook from Duff.
Duff doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Nice jab there from Duff.
Duff takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Atlantis connects with a good right hand that stumbles Duff. Duff circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A slapping body kick lands there for Duff.
Duff misses the jab.
Atlantis is looking to counter punch.
Atlantis looks to land a combination but Duff avoids it well.
Atlantis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

It looked like Atlantis was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Duff.
We've been hearing reports that Atlantis has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Atlantis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Duff gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Duff got a little sloppy there for a moment and Atlantis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Duff has managed to get both his arms back between Atlantis's legs - danger averted.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Atlantis closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Duff did well to prevent Atlantis getting side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Atlantis is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Duff frees his head nicely. Oh but Atlantis has switched to an armbar! Duff is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
