Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mateo Sobral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorje Slayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sobral comes to the cage accompanied by Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up. Slayer is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Otep - Battle Ready. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sobral shoots in looking for a takedown. Slayer tries to sprawl out of it but Sobral keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slayer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sobral changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Slayer tries to avoid it but Sobral manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Slayer to the ground. Slayer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Slayer gets a takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sobral has hold of Slayer's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Slayer manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sobral lands a big elbow.

Sobral is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Slayer is defending well though. Sobral let's go of the attempt for now.
Sobral is trying to stick to Slayer's back but Slayer is turning into Sobral. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Sobral's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Slayer.
