Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hope takes a jab right on the kisser.
Hope missing with a left hand there. Pablos was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Pablos fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
An attempted straight right counter from Hope misses the target.
Hope looks to land a right hand but Pablos moved out of range.
Pablos tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hope swivels and escapes.
Pablos smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Hope throws a jab but it's blocked by Pablos.

Pablos wants to take the fight to the mat but Hope manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Randy Hope has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pablo Pablos.

Pablos has Hope pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hope manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Hope lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Hope digs a right hand into Pablos's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Pablos's gas tank.

Pablos is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hope creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Pablos is rocked!
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hope.
Pablos is still on wobbly legs! Can Hope finish him?

Pablos drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hope gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Hope lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Hope swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Hope works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Pablos gets control of Hope's arms and successfully pulls guard. Pablos will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Hope tries to free his leg and advance position but Pablos is retaining full guard.

Hope stands up from Pablos's guard - Hope perhaps looking for a knockout.

Hope fails in his attempt to clinch.

and Pablos counters with a shoot takedown. Hope fights it but they end up in guard.
Hope wants to stand up but Pablos is controlling him.
Hope knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pablos on the ground.
Pablos is standing up over Hope. Hope looks to escape but Pablos dives into side control.
Hope is trying to get back to half guard.

Pablos has hold of Hope's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Hope tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Pablos cranks the arm and Hope screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Hope, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
