Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Ucci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Ucci!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samuel Adams!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Adams drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Ucci looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Adams tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Adams in side control, just content to control the action for now.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Adams working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Adams is looking to take a break and control but Ucci is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Adams tries to move into full mount but can't pass Ucci's legs.
Adams has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Ucci defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Adams.
Ucci can't escape the position.
Adams lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Ucci hang on?

Adams is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ucci can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Adams is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Ucci has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Adams has got one arm under Ucci's chin. This could be trouble... Ucci trying to control the other hand but Adams gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Ucci has tapped out! The fight is over!
