Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noah Tafoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Anka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tafoya comes to the cage accompanied by Kraftwerk - Musique Non Stop. Anka has chosen Kalinka as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Noah Tafoya!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kalle Anka!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Vladimir Khabensky and Viktor Lagutenko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anka scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Anka wants to control but Tafoya is keeping him busy.
Tafoya wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Tafoya is looking for a sweep.

Anka seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Tafoya is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Tafoya looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

It looks like Kalle Anka has been cut.
Tafoya lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Tafoya throws a shot from downtown. Anka moves away and avoids it.
Tafoya looks to score with a jab to the body but Anka is just out of range.
Anka fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Noah Tafoya has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kalle Anka.
Anka looks gassed!

Tafoya takes a swing at Anka's ribcage but misses.
Anka looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tafoya is fending him off so far but Anka persists. Nope, Tafoya circles away and we're back to standing.
Anka shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tafoya as he jumps to the side.
Tafoya lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Anka sprawling to the canvas. Tafoya follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Anka hang on?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tafoya has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Tafoya looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Tafoya looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Anka has given up his back here. Will Tafoya look for the submission or keep pounding away?

Tafoya patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?

Tafoya looking to break Anka's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Anka remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Tafoya will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Tafoya has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Anka has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Anka manages to reverse the position and now he's in Tafoya's guard. Nice work there by Anka.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tafoya is on top in guard.
Tafoya advances to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Anka is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tafoya tries to pass the half guard into mount. Anka knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Tafoya is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Anka doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tafoya.
Anka moves into full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Anka manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tafoya manages to get himself to full guard.

Tafoya had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Anka is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Tafoya Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Anka's back instead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Anka looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tafoya is fending him off so far but Anka persists. Nope, Tafoya circles away and we're back to standing.

Anka changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tafoya looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Tafoya is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Anka off and has taken his back!

Tafoya is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Anka won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Tafoya off his unconscious opponent!
