The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Eddie Farnsworth and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pepper avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pepper fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Aoki throws a lazy uppercut
and Pepper counters with a right hand to the body.
Pepper scores with a jab to the body.
Pepper looks to land a left hand but Aoki moved out of range nicely.
Aoki looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pepper lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Aoki looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Aoki is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Aoki is trying to work for a kimura but Pepper is defending well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pepper is looking for a sweep. Aoki is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Aoki seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Pepper is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
