Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Halery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xarel Vaex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaex tries to score a power double leg takedown but Halery sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vaex somewhat.
Vaex tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Halery defends well and Vaex ends up having to push Halery into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Vaex has closed the distance and engaged Halery in a clinch.
Halery is trying to drag Vaex to the mat but Vaex just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Halery wants a takedown but no success here.
Halery tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Vaex just stands there and leans against the cage.

Halery tightens his grip and picks Vaex up, before dumping him to the ground. Vaex manages to land in guard.

Halery shoots for a double leg takedown but Vaex sprawls well. He's pushed Halery's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vaex using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Halery has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Halery wants to break free but Vaex has control.
Halery jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vaex walks away with a smile on his face. Halery gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Vaex jerks Halery's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Halery drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Vaex goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Vaex because Halery was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
