Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Carneiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Olavi Korhonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carneiro comes into the arena with The Rasmus - In the Shadows blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Daniel Carneiro has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Daniel Carneiro seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korhonen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Korhonen displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Daniel Carneiro has been cut.
Korhonen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Carneiro.
Some wild striking there from Carneiro.
Carneiro lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Korhonen circles away quickly and effectively.
Korhonen lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Carneiro backs up against the cage.
Daniel Carneiro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carneiro buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Korhonen moves into the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Carneiro is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Korhonen tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Korhonen misses with a knee to the head.

Carneiro breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Korhonen moves into the clinch.
Carneiro tries to circle away but Korhonen has him pinned against the cage.

Carneiro breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Korhonen throws a series of punches but Carneiro moves out of range.

Korhonen clinches up with Carneiro and pushes him back against the cage.
Carneiro slowing the pace effectively.
Korhonen tries to land knees in the clinch but Carneiro avoids the damage to the body.
Carneiro has Korhonen pressed against the cage, preventing Korhonen from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Carneiro is looking to control Korhonen's arms but Korhonen gets an underhook and turns him. Now Carneiro has his back to the cage.

Carneiro manages to break the clinch.
Carneiro misses with a series of wild punches.
Korhonen has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Carneiro.

Carneiro misses with a takedown attempt
and Korhonen counters with a left and a right that stings Carneiro.
Korhonen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Korhonen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carneiro ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Korhonen moves away.
A little jabbing left from Korhonen on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Carneiro moves forwards but Korhonen connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Korhonen moves in looking to clinch but Carneiro pushes him off.
Korhonen throws a series of strikes that have Carneiro backpedaling.
Korhonen misses with a series of wild punches.
Carneiro lands an overhand right.

Carneiro manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Korhonen on his heels. He'll look to pass Korhonen's guard now, I'm sure.
Carneiro is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Korhonen is looking to stand up but Carneiro isn't so interested in that idea.

Carneiro drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Carneiro jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Carneiro's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Carneiro works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Carneiro seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Korhonen is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

A relieved looking Daniel Carneiro thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
