Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Higgs Boson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacques Rougeau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Rougeau's choice of entrance music: Ned's Atomic Dustbin- Kill Your Television. Jacques Rougeau acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jacques Rougeau!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boson fails to land with a series of punches.
Boson throws a series of punches but Rougeau avoids them all with ease.

Rougeau steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Boson.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rougeau crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Boson - the referee stops the clock and Rougeau gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Boson. Rougeau manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Boson lands a jab to the head.
Boson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Touch Of Death Combat Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Rougeau tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Boson defends well and Rougeau ends up having to push Boson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Boson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rougeau.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rougeau.

And Rougeau tries to counter it with a takedown but Boson pushes his down on his head and steps out.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Rougeau cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Rougeau lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Rougeau decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Boson's guard.

Boson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Rougeau has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Rougeau lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Boson down.

Rougeau is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Boson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Higgs Boson's cut is getting worse.
Rougeau scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Boson is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Rougeau can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
