Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Serge Ibaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lou Nahtic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nahtic comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sleeping My Day Away kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nahtic throws a lazy head kick
enabling Ibaka to counter with a crisp jab.
Ibaka takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Nahtic throws a sloppy head kick and Ibaka moves out of range easily.
Nahtic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ibaka throws a lazy right hand but Nahtic sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nahtic steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Ibaka throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Ibaka takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

and Ibaka counters with a left and a right that stings Nahtic.
Ibaka throws a looping overhand right but Nahtic ducks down to avoid it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nahtic is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Ibaka lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ibaka creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Ibaka breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Serge Ibaka really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Aspire Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
