Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vertti Ekstrovertti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Borja Quincy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quincy looks to throw the jab but Ekstrovertti is out of range.
Quincy cracks Ekstrovertti with a right hand to the side of the head.
Quincy throws a body shot but no joy.
A slow jab from Quincy misses its intended target.

Borja Quincy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quincy tries to land a front kick but Ekstrovertti steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Ekstrovertti swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Quincy misses with a hook. Ekstrovertti ducked under it nicely.
Ekstrovertti throws a looping overhand right but Quincy ducks down to avoid it.

The fighters circling - Quincy throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Quincy takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ekstrovertti tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Quincy was well out of range. Poor timing from Ekstrovertti.
Quincy throws the left hand but Ekstrovertti avoids the punch easily.
Quincy misses with an uppercut. Ekstrovertti saw that one coming.
Ekstrovertti lands a slapping body shot.
Quincy takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ekstrovertti avoids the body shot from Quincy.

Ekstrovertti changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Quincy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ekstrovertti wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Quincy, who protects the arm well.

Ekstrovertti is trying to get an arm triangle but Quincy is defending well.
Quincy tries to bench press Ekstrovertti off him but Ekstrovertti keeps the position.

Ekstrovertti is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Quincy is trying to escape and Ekstrovertti transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Quincy is forced to tap! Nice work there by Ekstrovertti! Very nice indeed!

Vertti Ekstrovertti decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
