Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dfhhb Dgholm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dfhhb Dgholm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ken Masters!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Dgholm enables Masters to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dgholm manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Masters is looking to stand up but Dgholm won't let him.

Dgholm has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Masters is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dgholm.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

It looks like Masters might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
A nice elbow there by Masters.
Dgholm is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dgholm has given up his back here. Will Masters look for the submission or keep pounding away?

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Dgholm manages to stand up with Masters still on his back. Eventually Masters drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.

Masters throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Dgholm counters with a straight right hand.
Masters blocks a head kick by Dgholm.
Masters shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dgholm as he jumps to the side.
Dgholm appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Dgholm lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Masters scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Dgholm has one foot on Masters's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Masters throws a head kick that misses.
Dgholm swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Dgholm jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Dgholm dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Dgholm. Masters shrugs it off though.
Dgholm scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Dgholm moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

enabling Dgholm to counter with a crisp jab.

Dgholm checks the leg kick nicely there.
Dgholm fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Masters has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Dgholm counters with a big head kick but Masters shrugs it off.

Masters shoots for a takedown but Dgholm saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Dgholm throws a quick counter head kick but Masters was just out of range.

Dgholm lands a head kick. Masters smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

The fight stays on the outside here - Masters looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Dfhhb Dgholm is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nice sprawl there from Dgholm as Masters shoots in.
Dfhhb Dgholm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ken Masters.

Masters tries for a takedown but Dgholm circles away easily
and Dgholm counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Masters counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dgholm won't be happy with that.
Ken Masters has got the better of the ground game so far.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dgholm wants to control but Masters postures up.
Masters is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Dgholm will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Masters's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Masters tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Dgholm is looking to regain half guard here but Masters keeps moving and retains side control.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Dfhhb Dgholm is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Masters takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Masters takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Ken Masters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dgholm lands with a nice body punch.
Dgholm misses the shot to the body.

Masters shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dgholm napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Horrible takedown attempt by Masters or perhaps it was just good defense by Dgholm, which made it look bad.

Masters thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Masters tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Masters has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Dgholm seems a little lost for a moment, as Masters dominates the positioning.
Dgholm wants to get back to his feet but Masters is dominant here and he's now got Dgholm's back!

Masters has his opponent's back but Dgholm is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off Masters.

Dgholm gets caught napping as Masters dives in and scores a takedown. Dgholm manages to retain guard.

Dgholm is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Dgholm is trying to control the position but Masters postures up.
Dfhhb Dgholm is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Masters in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Masters would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Masters postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dfhhb Dgholm.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dgholm, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
