Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Norbert Aguilar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Halil Krupin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Halil Krupin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Sergei Dronov and Ivan Kurochkin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aguilar fails with the takedown.
Aguilar shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Krupin defends it nicely.
Krupin throws a sloppy head kick

and Aguilar counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Aguilar stands up and beckons Krupin to join him on the feet.
Krupin tries to clinch up but Aguilar circles away and keeps his distance.
Aguilar attempts a counter takedown but Krupin avoids it well and moves away.
A solid leg kick lands there for Krupin.
Halil Krupin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aguilar looks for a takedown but Krupin sprawls well.
Krupin is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Norbert Aguilar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Norbert Aguilar has been cut.

Krupin forces Aguilar back against the cage and clinches.
Oh Aguilar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Krupin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Aguilar enables Krupin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Aguilar manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Krupin is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Krupin stands up from Aguilar's guard - Krupin perhaps looking for a knockout.
No luck for Aguilar with that takedown attempt.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Krupin throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Aguilar is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
