Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Timo Vesala and Ivan Putski. Vesala comes into the arena with Bomfunk MC's - Freestyler blaring out of the sound system. Putski is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Aids . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Timo Vesala! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 4 losses; Ivan Putski!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Putski.
Vesala seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Putski is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Vesala knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Vesala for a finish.
