Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Slate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arion Rough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Rough or perhaps it was just good defense by Slate which made him look bad.
Rough fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rough is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Slate.
Rough loads up on a big right hand but Slate slips the punch.
Slate shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Slate was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Rough is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Slate looking to control but Rough is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

No joy there for Rough, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Slate, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
