Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Magas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Troy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Christian Troy!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Troy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Magas lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Troy at a distance.
Troy sizes up Magas with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Magas is looking to clinch.

Troy throws a hook but Magas blocks it.
Magas wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Magas has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Troy is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Troy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Magas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Magas is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Christian Troy dominated that round.
That's time! Magas's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Troy throws a head kick but Magas moves out of range.
Magas cracks Troy with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Mike Magas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Christian Troy.
Magas lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Troy backs up against the cage.

Troy might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Magas has Troy pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Magas pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Troy tumbling to the mat - Magas dives into Troy's guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Magas lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Troy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Magas finds it's way round the side to connect with Troy's head.

Troy takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Magas lands with a hook. Troy tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Magas has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Troy regains guard immediately.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Magas fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Troy looks for a takedown but Magas sprawls well.
Magas lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Troy circles away quickly and effectively.
Troy shoots in and bounces Magas off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Troy connects with a nice short shot to Magas's temple.

Troy wants to control from the top but Magas keeps moving.

Troy postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Magas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Troy throws a strike but Magas rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Troy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Magas manages to avoid it.

and Magas counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Troy thinking.
Magas throws an overhand right that lands on Troy's shoulder, as Troy tries to avoid the shot.
And that's the end of the fight!
Christian Troy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Troy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
