Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eric Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Franks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Anderson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Falling to Pieces. Eric Anderson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jon Franks's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franks displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Anderson.
Franks lunges at Anderson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Anderson's hand.
Franks throws a head kick that misses.
Franks shoots in and drives through. Anderson sprawls well.
Anderson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Franks at a distance.
Anderson goes for a double leg but Franks avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Franks continues to drive forward.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Franks leaves Anderson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Franks shoots in for a double leg but Anderson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Franks changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Anderson tries to avoid it but Franks manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Anderson to the ground. Anderson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Franks goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Franks tries to keep at a distance but Anderson has taken the fight into the clinch.

Franks escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Anderson tries to break free but Franks pushes him back against the cage.
Anderson is pressed up against the cage. Franks has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Anderson down to the mat. Anderson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Anderson throws a sloppy head kick and Franks moves out of range easily.
Anderson is looking to clinch but Franks is avoiding it.
Franks fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Franks throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Anderson.
Franks just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromAnderson.

and Anderson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Anderson drops Franks with a naaaaasty hook - Franks is in real trouble here! Anderson dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
