Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benjamin rushes Khaliev and presses him up against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Benjamin.
Khaliev goes for a takedown attempt but Benjamin pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Khaliev on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Benjamin stuns Khaliev with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Benjamin lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Benjamin lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Khaliev is rocked!
Benjamin fails in his attempt to clinch.
Oh Khaliev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Benjamin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Khaliev appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Khaliev seems to have got his legs back now.
Benjamin throws a lazy right hand but Khaliev sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Benjamin misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Khaliev counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Khaliev.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Khaliev drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Benjamin manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Khaliev has Benjamin in his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Khaliev working for a triangle but Benjamin defends it easily.

Khaliev is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Khaliev looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Khaliev is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Benjamin is aware though and is defending well.
Benjamin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Benjamin content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Benjamin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Khaliev is proving hard to escape from.
Khaliev keeping full guard, as Benjamin tries to pass.
Khaliev has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Benjamin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Benjamin wants to get up but he can't break Khaliev's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Benjamin tries to free his leg and advance position but Khaliev is retaining full guard.
Benjamin is working Khaliev over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Benjamin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Khaliev has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Benjamin has managed to get both his arms back between Khaliev's legs - danger averted.
Khaliev is looking to cinch up a triangle. Benjamin throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Khaliev's body to avoid the submission. Khaliev has instead reached around Benjamin's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Khaliev arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
