Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Cosmo Kai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kai looks to land a left hand but Jones moved out of range nicely.
Jones swings for the body but Kai moves out of range.
Jones connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Kai tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Jones is able to avoid easily.
Jones throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Jason Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones swings wildly with an uppercut but Kai uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kai escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kai tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Kai pushes off an throws an elbow but Jones leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.

Kai has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Jones cracks Kai with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Kai goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Kai wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!
