Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Delay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paul Delay!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Tyler - just one landing.

It looks like Paul Delay has been cut.
Paul Delay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyler connects with a looping right hand.
Delay fails with the takedown.
Delay shoots in looking for a takedown but Tyler manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Delay's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Delay pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Delay is looking to clinch.
Delay fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hunter Tyler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Delay.
Delay tries to clinch up
letting Tyler counter with a right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tyler smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

and Tyler counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Tyler keeps the fight on the outside.

Delay changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tyler tries to avoid it but Delay manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tyler to the ground. Tyler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Delay closes the distance and pushes Tyler back into the cage.
Tyler lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Tyler lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Delay is looking to take this one to the mat.
Delay wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Tyler lands a right hand.
Tyler throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
A short right from Tyler.
Still in the clinch, Tyler scores with a nice short uppercut.
Tyler lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Delay backwards.
Tyler scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Delay is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tyler scores with a shoulder strike.
Delay is still on wobbly legs! Can Tyler finish him?

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tyler creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Delay's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Delay drops to his knees and Tyler pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
