Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Glass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donovan Riggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Glass !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donovan Riggs!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glass lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Riggs circles away quickly and effectively.
Riggs feints the counter takedown.
Glass connects with a single shot there.


It looks like Donovan Riggs has been cut.

Riggs shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Glass keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Riggs thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Riggs connects with a nice short shot to Glass 's temple.

Glass shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Riggs eats them both and turns towards Glass to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Riggs needs to keep his hands up - Glass had a free shot at his head there.
Riggs closes this distance looking for a takedown but Glass circles away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Glass enables Riggs to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Glass manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close round but I would say that Kevin Glass will probably get the nod.

Glass throws a nice looking combination but Riggs bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Riggs is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Glass defends well.

Riggs has his foot on Glass 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Glass works his way back into a safe position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Riggs goes for a double leg but Glass avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Glass continues to drive forward.

Glass throws a series of punches but Riggs avoids them all with ease.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Riggs is defended easily by Glass .

Riggs shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Glass 's guard.

Glass pushes Riggs off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Riggs has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Glass , winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
