The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cucumber looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Cucumber prevents Khalilov from standing back up.
Cucumber could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Cucumber thows a huge punch but Khalilov dodges it nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cucumber wants to pass to mount but Khalilov is defending the position.
Cucumber has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Cucumber is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cucumber has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Cucumber lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Khalilov is in a horrible position here. Cucumber smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Khalilov is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
The referee warns Khalilov that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Cucumber is landing with some decent strikes but Khalilov is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Khalilov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Khalilov is rocked!
Cucumber postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Khalilov badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Cucumber around the waist but Cucumber pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Cucumber is the winner by TKO! Cucumber jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
