Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Sylva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Glover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sylva comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica - Seek & Destroy. Jason Glover will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sylva fails with a takedown attempt.
Glover scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sylva doesn't seem bothered though.
Sylva avoids a punch combination nicely.
Glover throws a series of punches but Sylva moves out of range.

Sylva drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Sylva is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Glover is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sylva blocks the strikes from Glover.
Glover avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Sylva.
Glover is looking for a sweep.

Sylva misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Glover tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Glover sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Sylva slows the pace down in half guard.
Glover avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sylva.
Sylva has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Sylva tries to control but Glover wriggling away.

Sylva is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Glover has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Glover!
Glover missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Sylva manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sylva working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Sylva trying to control but Glover is having none of it.
Glover is desperately trying to improve his position but Sylva has a good base and remains in mount.
Sylva fails to move to back control.
Sylva unloads with some shots from mount but Glover bucks and avoids them well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Sylva is trying to control here but Glover has managed to regain half guard.
Glover gets back to full guard.
Sylva stays in close to Glover's body and controls the position.
Sylva is pushing down on Glover's leg trying to pass to half guard. Glover is fighting to maintain full guard but Sylva has managed to sneak the leg through.
Sylva uses his free foot to push down on Glover's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Glover.
Sylva tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Glover moves into range and connects with a jab.
Glover lands with a big left! Sylva is wobbled badly! Glover comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Sylva to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
