Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 17 - 1, fighting out of London, Ori Jokinen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Antoni Hong!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jokinen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hong throws out a counter right but Jokinen avoids it with no problem.
Hong has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Jokinen is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Jokinen swats away the attempt to clinch by Hong.
Hong takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Hong throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jokinen misses with the combination.
The fighters circling - Jokinen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Ori Jokinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jokinen with a poor takedown
and Hong cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jokinen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jokinen throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Jokinen misses with a body shot.
Jokinen tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Hong has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jokinen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hong moves away.
Jokinen throws a poor cross that misses
and Hong counters with a thumping low kick.
Hong scores with a nice strike.
Hong digs a good body shot into Jokinen's ribs.
Hong checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Jokinen throws a shot from downtown. Hong moves away and avoids it.
Jokinen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Jokinen throws a quick inside leg kick.
Hong on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Jokinen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hong circles away.
Hong fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jokinen is out of range.
Jokinen throwing a counter right hand but Hong manages to avoid it.
Jokinen tries to clinch but Hong moves out of range.
Hong is looking to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jokinen tries to land a body kick
and Hong counters with a slapping leg kick.
Jokinen feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hong's calf.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jokinen shoots for a double leg takedown but Hong sprawls well. He's pushed Jokinen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ori Jokinen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hong lands with an overhand left.
Hong keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hong! But no joy.
Hong thumps Jokinen with a low kick.
Hong keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jokinen.

Hong lands a big head kick that sends Jokinen tumbling to the mat! Hong takes a step backwards and waves Jokinen back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Jokinen is rocked!
Hong delivers a nice body kick.
Oh Jokinen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hong is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Jokinen is in big trouble! Hong is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Jokinen. Poor guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Antoni Hong!
A very excited looking Antoni Hong made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
